Zoobomb is a sub-culture of bicycle riders addicted to going fast downhill on bicycles. Every Sunday night, hill-bombers on mini bikes, tall bikes, gravity bikes, dirt surfers, trikes, skateboards, and buttboards bomb down from the top of the west hills near the zoo in Portland, OR. The activity started almost a decade ago when Tri-Met, Portland's public transportation organization, opened up the MAX light rail that takes riders into the west hills.
Zoobombers also present fun bicycle activities throughout the year. These are my attempts to document the fun.
"You're a zoobomber if you have bombed the hill", many zoo bombers will say.
